         High quality and low price - can't be beat!, March 29, 2011

        This is a beautiful set, and the colors in the photo are true enought to allow me to predict accurately that it would look wonderful in my bedroom with dark green walls and ecru accents. Customers should be aware, however, that the colors in person are more muted than bright. This is a true quilt rather than a comforter. As such it is physically heavier than a comforter, though only of medium weight. Also it will not be as warm as a comforter, and most will probably want to combine it with a blanket or two, as I do in a house with nightime temps at 65 or lower. Being impatient, I did not launder it before using, so I can't be sure of those results. The fabric is 100% cotton of only a moderately dense weave, so I will wash it in cold water and line dry it. I did not note any unpleasant odor, as others have observed. I did air it for a day or so before using it, however. However, I shold be clear: I love my set and would recommend it to anyone, with the caveats noted above."
